Drum Handlers
Completely mechanical devices that can be slipped onto the forks of any standard forklift truck in just a matter of seconds. Once installed, the loading or unloading of most types of drums is achieved safely and efficiently without the forklift driver leaving the seat of his truck.
All drum handlers are completely automatic and operate by clamping the drum around its waist (T6WF series) or by its upper lip (T6RF series). "The heavier the drum, the tighter the grip".
T6WF Waist Type - Fork Mounted Single and Double
T6RF Rim Type - Fork Mounted Single and Double
All units are operated by driving forward, contacting the drum and then elevating the carriage of the forklift truck. Once elevated the drum remains securely clamped within the jaws until it is lowered to the ground and released, when the forklift truck backs away.
