Manufactured specifically for the farming industry where mobile equipment tends to corrode due to soil and water contamination.
The unique "patented" Totall ring-gear does not contain balls or rollers. Instead, it rotates on a polyethylene insert that is impervious to the elements and is readily replaced when worn.
The insert is one of 3 parts of the main ring gear (all individually replaceable), that self cleans during each revolution. Replacement of any of the three parts is fast and inexpensive compared to the cost of replacing conventional rotator ring-gears, containing balls or rollers.
Used for inverting boxes of vegetables, fruits or nuts, this rotator also incorporates an optional fold -in/fold-out fork assembly, that protects the side of the wooden vegetable box when inverting the load.
With service in mind, all grease points have been located at the front or on top of the rotator and the one piece speed reducer can be serviced simply by removing four screws. There are no seals to replace in the ring-gear.
Visibility is excellent - through the middle, over the top and on both sides of the carriage.
